Royal Grant Highlights Official Opening of Moulay Abdellah Amghar Festival in El Jadida Around 200 beneficiaries receive royal aid at the festival's opening; wheelchairs, prescription glasses, and gifts distributed to children and orphans.
The tradition of mutual aid and solidarity once again took center stage at the Moulay Abdellah Amghar Moussem, whose official opening took place on Monday in El Jadida with a ceremony dedicated to the distribution of Royal assistance to around 200 beneficiaries. The festivities were officially launched by the Governor of El Jadida Province and Saad Eddine Semiej, chargé de mission at the Royal Household, in the presence of elected officials, representatives of the civil and military authorities, as well as several members of the Moroccan community living abroad. The inaugural ceremony, held at the headquarters of El Jadida Province, was marked by the distribution of Royal assistance granted by King Mohammed VI. It began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by an address by Saad Eddine Samij, chargé de mission at the Royal Chamberlain’s Office. This initiative, reflecting the social and solidarity-based dimension traditionally associated with the Moussem, benefited several categories of recipients. Around 85 people, including Quran memorizers, sheikhs and performers of religious praise, received assistance, alongside 64 people in vulnerable circumstances.
